The Envestnet Institute On Campus (EIOC) proudly published its first-ever Annual Report this week. After much success between inception in 2015 and the end of 2017, the program has gone beyond effective measure and is thrilled to show stakeholders the progress of its efforts.
2017 ended on a high note for the EIOC as the program surpassed its target of training 1,000 students. The numbers climbed higher than expected, as more than 1,100 students completed the eLearning certificate program, giving them the slight hand within the nation’s uneven job market. The momentum is intended to drive, as 2018 progresses with nearly 25 colleges and universities participating and interest among both students and universities rising.
Through seven-to-eight week sessions, participants are provided with increased knowledge of the financial services industry, bridging the gap between education and employment. The EIOC aims to ensure all participants are aware of the varied job opportunities and have an edge over other applicants for internships and career opportunities in the industry.
“We set out hoping to train 1,000 students – and we exceeded that goal. But it should be noted that this is only the beginning of our success. We will continue to engage and educate, ultimately enhancing these students’ educational background while simultaneously solving the industry’s talent gap.”
– Jim Seuffert, Program Director, Envestnet Institute On Campus
